PointRoll, Inc. Promotes Gian Lombardi To Vice President of Sales, North America
In the short term, Lombardi will oversee the expansion of PointRoll’s West Coast footprint
Conshohocken, Pa., January 4, 2007 – PointRoll, Inc., the leading developer of innovative rich media technology solutions, today announced it has promoted Gian Lombardi to Vice President of Sales, North America. While leading the whole of PointRoll’s North American sale efforts, Lombardi will initially focus on expanding PointRoll’s western footprint further to maximize the growth of the company’s West Coast operations. He will be based out of the company’s Los Angeles office starting in January.

Previously, Lombardi served as PointRoll’s Vice President, Sales – East, where he grew the company’s Eastern U.S. region to more than 11 billion impressions through the first three quarters in 2006, a 70 percent increase over 2005. Prior to joining PointRoll, Lombardi was a Director of Sales & Alliances for Maven Networks, Inc. Before Maven, he served in DoubleClick’s TechSolutions Division in a variety of sales and sales management roles over the course of his six-year tenure. Lombardi started at DoubleClick in 1997 as a Business Development Associate as part of the initial launch team on the DART for Publishers business. In 1998, he went on to help launch DoubleClick’s DART for Advertisers business and served as a Regional Sales Director for the East Coast. Later, Lombardi served as the National Sales Director for both the email and research divisions and ultimately became its Vice President of Global Sales before leaving in 2003.
