Jason Tafler, CEO
Jason gives PointRoll the first-class leadership that will keep pace with the company's tremendous growth. He has spent his career building, advising and investing in entrepreneurial, growth-oriented companies in the media, advertising and technology industries.
Jason most recently held the position of Senior Vice President, Global Business Operations & Strategy for PointRoll, responsible for leading the company's overall growth strategy and full-service Operations division. During his time in this role, Jason grew the Operations department to over 120 team members, built the Los Angeles office from a minimal presence to over 25 employees, and launched 24/7 client support across three shifts. On a monthly basis, Jason was responsible for the delivery of over 1,000 ad campaigns and billions of impressions for 2/3 of the Fortune 500.
A three-year veteran with the company, Jason joined PointRoll as Vice President of Business Development & Strategy from mergers and acquisitions firm The Jordan, Edmiston Group (JEGI), after advising PointRoll on its sale to Gannett in 2005. At JEGI, he executed buy and sell-side engagements in the online media and interactive marketing services sectors and managed investments for the firm's venture capital fund, JEGI Capital.
Earlier in his career, Jason served as Director of Business Development at Kemur Publishing, a leading lifestyles publisher, and worked in corporate finance and mergers & acquisitions. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business in Toronto and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
