The Teaser is a type of automatic display that can be added to any size PointRoll FatBoy. Its primary purpose is to entice, or 'tease' the user to interact with the actual ad to see more messages from the advertiser.
How It Works After the web page loads, the AutoDisplay Teaser appears after a preset period of time (known as 'Display Delay') and remains displayed for a pre-determined amount of time (known as 'Display Time'). The Display Delay and Display Time variables are set by the advertiser when building the PointRoll ad unit with the AutoDisplay functionality. If the user does not mouse over, or interact with the Teaser message, then it automatically closes after the display period has ended. Otherwise, the Teaser message will remain open as long as the user is interacting with it. Likewise, the Teaser message will automatically close if the user interacts with the banner of the ad unit while the Teaser message is open.
